Religion—MA
The On-campus Master of Arts (Religion) Specialized is an academic program designed to prepare students for: Doctoral degrees, Teaching, and Church workers.
The Interactive Online Master of Arts (Religion) Interdisciplinary is a program designed to prepare students for: Pastoring (non NAD), Teaching and Church administrators.

PROGRAM LENGTH
This 38 +credit program can typically be completed by full-time students in two years. Up to 12 additional credit hours required for students with a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated area.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
Prospective students must submit their applications by the dates listed below.
- Fall (August - December): July 15
- Spring (January - May): November 15
- Summer (May - August): March 15
Prospective students applying to the off-campus program must submit their applications by the dates set by the International Sites.

- Accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and by the Adventist Accrediting Association.
- Research-oriented and designed with intensive focus in the chosen area of study.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelors degree (or non-U.S. equivalent) from an accredited institution and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Three Recommendations from professionals such as advisors, major professors and employers.
- Resume describing employment, research or special projects.
- Statement of Purpose reflecting your philosophical perspective, personal, professional and academic goals, and reasons for seeking the graduate program.
- TOEFL, IELTS or PTE (academic): Students whose language of education is not English must submit English proficiency test scores. The MA (Religion) off-campus program may not require English proficiency test scores as the language of instruction is set by the International Sites.
